Caritas Lebanon has launched a Request for Proposal for the provision and customization of aMobile Clinic within the framework of SALAM – Social, sustAinable and incLusive heAlth care systems in Med area, the Interreg NEXT MED project working to promote more equitable access to healthcare and strengthen health system resilience across the Mediterranean.
The mobile clinic is one of the most tangible components of SALAM’s approach in Lebanon: a fully equipped vehicle designed to bring medical services directly to communities that are harder to reach through fixed health facilities.
What the mobile clinic will look like
The mobile clinic will include three separate areas: one for the driver, one for patient reception and quick assessments, and one for examinations and remote consultations. The examination area comes with screens, laptops and internet connectivity to allow specialists to support care from a distance. The vehicle will also work off-grid, with its own power supply, backup batteries and climate control — ready to operate in areas where infrastructure is limited or unavailable.
Who can apply
Eligible bidders must be manufacturers, accredited wholesalers, traders, suppliers or agents registered in Lebanon. They must have at least 5 years of experience in equipping mobile clinics and provide a minimum of 2 references from similar projects.
The evaluation will be based on a combined technical (60%) and financial (40%) assessment, with a minimum technical passing score of 40 out of 60 points; only bidders meeting this threshold will have their financial offer evaluated.
How to submit
Bidders must submit offers in English in a sealed envelope labelled with RFP #0298 and Reference #1362. Each submission must include one technical offer and one financial offer in two separate envelopes, sealed together in a third envelope.
Interested eligible bidders can request the full tender documents.
