The European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) has just launched the EuroMed Survey 2026, an open regional consultation co-funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
This year’s edition focuses on “Development cooperation in crisis – future scenarios for the Euro-Mediterranean region”, at a time when development aid is experiencing its hardest decline in a decade while the Euro-Mediterranean region is facing growing overlapping crises that need increased financing.
The objective of the survey is to gather first-hand insights on current trends, priorities and future scenarios for development cooperation, helping to inform policy discussions and future cooperation frameworks in the region.
For that, it will seek insights from a wide range of stakeholders, including:
✅ Policymakers
✅ Experts and academics
✅ Civil society representatives
✅ Private sector actors
✅ Anyone engaged in the region
The survey is open until 31 May 2026.
