Under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Huson University College, Prof. Dr. Bashaar Amary, Al-Huson University College successfully hosted the “Small Business Management” workshop, on 18/May/2026 bringing together 40 participants, including academics, students, and representatives of start-ups particularly start-ups engaged in beekeeping-related ventures.

The workshop emphasized the growing significance of sustainable development and green entrepreneurship, highlighting innovative practices in beekeeping and small enterprise management as key drivers for local economic development and rural innovation.

A central highlight of the event was the participation of the SPEEDUP Project, which delivered a presentation outlining its vision, objectives, and activities. The project showcased its role in supporting start-ups, fostering innovation pathways, and promoting sustainable economic growth through entrepreneurship.
