IVY Reporter opportunity to support Interreg cooperation in Tunisia

The Ministry of Economy and Planning of Tunisia, acting as the National Authority for the Interreg NEXT MED Programme and as the National Contact Point for the Interreg Italy–Tunisia Programme, is launching a call for an IVY (Interreg Volunteer Youth) Reporter. Application deadline: 8 June 2026.

This volunteering opportunity aims to strengthen communication, visibility, and citizen engagement around European Territorial Cooperation initiatives in Tunisia and across the Mediterranean region.

The Interreg NEXT MED Programme promotes cooperation across Mediterranean regions in Europe and neighbouring countries, addressing shared challenges and fostering sustainable development through transnational collaboration.

In parallel, the Interreg Italy-Tunisia Programme supports cross-border cooperation between Sicily and Tunisia, focusing on common priorities and opportunities in the Mediterranean basin.

Role of the IVY Reporter

The selected IVY volunteer will support the implementation of both programmes by contributing to communication and outreach activities in Tunisia, including:

  • Participation in Interreg information and awareness campaigns
  • Support to project partners in implementing communication strategies
  • Assistance to the National Authority in visibility and information activities
  • Liaison with programme bodies and stakeholders to strengthen coordination

Through these activities, the IVY Reporter will help bring European cooperation closer to citizens and increase the visibility of results achieved in the region.

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Financial support: €35.68 per day (weekends and holidays included)
  • Languages required: Arabic (C2), French (C2)
