Dairy SMEs in Cyprus are now invited to take part in the next phase of SmartGreenEcos, an Interreg NEXT MED project supporting agri-food businesses in becoming greener, more digital and more competitive.
As the project moves into implementation, one of its main priorities is to engage the businesses that will help shape and benefit from the SmartGreenEcos ecosystem. In Cyprus, the current outreach campaign is addressed to dairy producers and relevant actors in the value chain who are interested in exploring new opportunities for improvement, cooperation and innovation.
SmartGreenEcos is designed to provide practical support to SMEs through four core service areas. These include AI-based benchmarking and optimisation, capacity building for smart and green practices, digital procurement tools for joint purchasing, and collaborative new product development support. Through these services, participating businesses will have the opportunity to strengthen their performance, improve skills, reduce inefficiencies and explore new ways of working and cooperating.
In total, 100 dairy SMEs from Cyprus, Greece, Tunisia and Jordan will be engaged in the project, with 25 companies per country. In Cyprus, the current campaign aims to bring this opportunity closer to the businesses that can benefit from it and contribute to it.
