The CAREMED project, funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, is organising an on-site event in Palma de Mallorca (Spain), bringing together project partners, health professionals and institutional stakeholders.

The event will present the CAREMED project and its objectives within the Interreg NEXT MED framework, and will serve as a platform to exchange experiences on community-based approaches to health across the Mediterranean region.

Discussions will focus in particular on the project’s work packages, including the Active Patient Programme and its 10-year experience in the Balearic Islands, as well as approaches to chronic care from primary health care centres to the wider Mediterranean context.
