The WISEMED project, funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme and coordinated by ICU as Lead Partner, held its 2nd Transnational Technical Committee meeting online on 30 March 2026, bringing together partners and associated partners from across the Mediterranean.

The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration among the consortium and to discuss the next steps towards the implementation of innovative and sustainable water management solutions.

The session focused on sharing progress made so far and aligning efforts for the upcoming phase of the project.

Partners exchanged views on how to better monitor and assess the impact of the solutions being developed, ensuring tangible benefits for farmers, communities and local territories.

The discussion also supported the joint validation of the Action Plans developed through national co-creation processes, confirming the shared commitment to move towards practical implementation in all participating countries.

The meeting marked an important step forward in strengthening cooperation and turning shared ideas into concrete actions for more sustainable and resilient water management in the Mediterranean region.

The journey continues as partners move from co-creation to implementation, turning ideas into real impact for Mediterranean territories.
