The 3rd of june 2026 marks a first step to deliver opportunities for local tourism businesses
The Drama Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with LAB.40, is pleased to invite local accommodation providers, hotels, guesthouses, and tourism stakeholders to participate in the 1st Local Stakeholder Group Meeting of the SMAC – Sustainability Model for Accommodation MSMEs project, co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg NEXT MED Programme.
The meeting will introduce the objectives of the SMAC project and present opportunities for local tourism businesses to engage in the development of a practical sustainability model tailored to the needs of micro, small, and medium-sized accommodation enterprises. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange views, identify local challenges and priorities, and contribute to shaping a more sustainable and competitive tourism sector in Drama.
The event marks the beginning of a collaborative process that will bring together businesses, institutions, and experts to support the green and digital transition of the hospitality sector through innovative tools, capacity-building activities, and stakeholder-driven solutions.
