The day began with a Project Meeting at Auditorium Santa Teresa, where project and communication officers, together with partners from Italy, Greece, Tunisia, Turkey, Lebanon, and Malta, shared progress updates and discussed camp methodology. This session set the stage for three days of collaborative learning, knowledge exchange, and solution co-creation for the future of sustainable horticulture.

These visits offered an in-depth look at eco-innovation technologies and cutting-edge practices within the Agritech Horticultural District of south-east Sicily.
Day 2 is fully dedicated to field visits at leading sector companies, where partners will explore diverse cultivation methods—from organic and soilless systems to hydroponics, technological sensing, and agrivoltaic integration. The goal: hands-on exchange of know-how and analysis of technological best practices shaping the Ragusa horticulture landscape.
