Aqaba Water reaffirms and provides further details on the Site Visit and Pre-Tender Conference for the Sludge2Energy Project on 15 June 2026 in Aqaba, Jordan.
As part of the ongoing procurement process for the Sludge2Energy Project, an initiative aimed at transforming wastewater sludge into renewable energy and promoting sustainable resource recovery in the water sector, a Site Visit and Pre-Tender Conference will be held on Monday, 15 June 2026, in Aqaba, Jordan.
Please note that all dates and times indicated in this notice and in the Tender Documents are expressed in Jordan local time (UTC+3).
The event will begin with a site visit at 10:00 AM, providing interested tenderers with the opportunity to better understand the project location, its operational context, and the technical framework required to achieve the Project’s energy recovery objectives. This will be followed by a project presentation and a question-and-answer session at the Aqaba Water (AW) offices in Aqaba.
Although attendance is not mandatory, all prospective tenderers are strongly encouraged to participate to fully understand the technical requirements and sustainability goals of the Sludge2Energy Project.
Questions raised during the conference will be recorded in the official meeting minutes and shared with all tenderers to ensure transparency and equal access to information.
Tenderers are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from both the site visit and the meeting venue.
Submission of Questions
All questions related to the Tender Documents must be submitted in writing to Aqaba Water via email only. Submissions through any other channels will not be considered.
Responses will be issued exclusively through official addenda and distributed to all tenderers.
The deadline for submitting questions is 17 June 2026 at 4:00 PM (Jordan local time, UTC+3).
