A feature article in a Lebanese magazine highlighted the EmpoweerNEET project and its efforts to support NEET youth through training, mentoring, and entrepreneurship activities.
The EmpoweerNEET project has received media coverage in Lebanon through a feature article published in Al Amn Magazine, highlighting the project’s contribution to supporting young people who are not in employment, education, or training (NEETs).
The article presented the objectives of the EmpoweerNEET project and its role in promoting employability, entrepreneurship, and participation in the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE). It also highlighted the project’s efforts to provide training, mentoring, and practical learning opportunities for young people across the Mediterranean region.
The publication explored the challenges faced by NEET youth, including limited access to employment opportunities, skills gaps, and socio-economic barriers. At the same time, it showcased how EmpoweerNEET supports young people by strengthening their capacities and creating pathways towards employment and entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, the article highlighted the project’s transnational partnership involving organizations from Palestine, Spain, Greece, Lebanon, Tunisia, and France, working together to foster youth inclusion and sustainable development across the Mediterranean region.
Media coverage plays an important role in increasing awareness of the opportunities available through the project and encouraging broader stakeholder engagement.
Moreover, the publication contributes to disseminating information about the importance of investing in youth potential and supporting innovative approaches that promote social and economic inclusion.
EmpoweerNEET is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg NEXT MED Programme. The project aims to empower young people who are not in employment, education, or training (NEETs) by strengthening their skills, employability, entrepreneurial capacities, and participation in the Social and Solidarity Economy.
The publication of this feature article represents another step in expanding the visibility of the project and raising awareness about the opportunities available to young people across the Mediterranean region.
