YOUTHMED Lebanon has completed its national implementation network to deliver youth empowerment activities that will expand opportunities for young people across the country.
YOUTHMED Lebanon has reached an important implementation milestone by completing the preparation of its national implementation network ahead of the launch of the project’s youth empowerment activities.
The national implementation network brings together the project teams of the Planning and Development Association (PDA) and the National League for Culture and Development (NLCD), alongside six contracted youth organizations operating across different regions of Lebanon:
This nationwide network has been established to ensure the effective local delivery of YOUTHMED activities while expanding the project’s outreach to young people in diverse communities across Lebanon.
The milestone follows the successful completion of the Training of Trainers (ToT) programme, the finalization of the joint training curriculum and learning materials, and the preparation of local implementation teams. Together, these achievements provide the operational foundation for the next phase of project implementation.
In the coming days, YOUTHMED Lebanon will launch its first call for youth applications, inviting young people from across the country to participate in capacity-building programmes, mentoring activities, community engagement initiatives, and cross-border cooperation opportunities.
By combining a strong national delivery network with a common Mediterranean training approach, YOUTHMED continues to strengthen youth participation, social inclusion, and cooperation across the Mediterranean region.
