The American University of Beirut is seeking to contract a qualified technical company or individual consultant to conduct a technical assessment of the BiClean membrane composting facility located in Bikfaya, Lebanon.
The Environment and Sustainable Development Unit (ESDU) at the American University of Beirut (AUB), within the framework of the MEDWISE project, co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, is seeking to contract a qualified technical company or individual consultant to conduct a technical assessment of the BiClean membrane composting facility located in Bikfaya, Lebanon.
The composting facility consists of four independently aerated membrane-covered composting tunnels, including ventilation systems, process-control instrumentation, leachate collection infrastructure, electrical control panels, and laboratory testing equipment. Following a prolonged period of inactivity, the assessment shall evaluate the operational condition, functionality, and rehabilitation requirements of the facility.
