The SPEEDUP Project, represented by Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU) reinforced its commitment to fostering innovation and sustainable cooperation across the Mediterranean region.
Representatives of the SPEEDUP Project from Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU) participated in the EU-Jordan Research Days 2026, organized by the Higher Council for Science and Technology (HCST), alongside researchers, academics, higher education institutions, research organizations, and private sector representatives from across Jordan.
The event showcased major European and international funding programmes, including Horizon Europe, the German Research Foundation (DFG), and Interreg NEXT MED, while providing participants with valuable insights into funding opportunities, proposal development, and international research collaboration.
As part of the SPEEDUP Project, co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, the BAU team engaged with researchers and stakeholders from various sectors to exchange experiences and explore opportunities for future cooperation and joint initiatives.
The participation also contributed to the project’s objective of strengthening stakeholder engagement and fostering sustainable partnerships across the Mediterranean region. Through networking sessions and interactive discussions, the BAU team established valuable connections with potential partners and gained insights that will contribute to enhancing innovation, promoting knowledge exchange, and supporting long-term collaboration within the project’s ecosystem.
