As part of the JADEITE Project, citizen surveys were carried out across all partner territories, including the Tuscany Region, Oxfam, JOHUD, Association Université et Environnement, the Municipality of Tulkarem, and the Union of Municipalities of Jezzine.

The surveys were conducted between March and May 2026 through public events, participatory workshops, and dedicated meetings designed to strengthen dialogue between citizens, local authorities, and stakeholders on key topics such as the green transition, environmental sustainability, and participatory governance.

Developed within the framework of international cooperation activities, the JADEITE survey explored environmental awareness, civic participation, local social and environmental challenges, and citizens’ expectations for a fair, inclusive, and sustainable green transition. Particular attention was dedicated to the active involvement of young people, women, and vulnerable groups, promoting inclusive participation across all partner territories.

The survey results are currently being analyzed and processed. The findings will support the development of future JADEITE actions aimed at promoting sustainable development models, inclusive governance, and participatory environmental policies across Mediterranean regions.
