NBS4MED presents its activities to better adapt five urban areas to the consequences of climate change.
The NBS4MED project is pleased to share the first issue of its newsletter, tracing the project’s journey so far, from the official kick-off meeting in Kiato, Greece, through study visits in Izmir and Barcelona, to a brief look at the five pilot actions taking shape across the Mediterranean. All these pilots rely on nature-based solutions to better adapt urban areas to the consequences of climate change.
This first issue marks an important milestone for the project, offering stakeholders and the wider public a comprehensive look at NBS4MED’s progress to date.
The project’s newsletter will be published periodically throughout the project’s lifetime, keeping readers informed as each pilot site advances from planning to results on the ground.
