The Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB) Climate Action team, Spanish partner of NBS4MED, is launching an open call for a Technician in Nature-Based Solutions and Climate Adaptation within the framework of the NBS4MED project. The selected candidate will contribute to building more resilient cities in the face of extreme heat and climate change, working with Mediterranean partners to promote innovative climate adaptation strategies.
The technician will support the development of urban resilience projects, climate shelters, and metropolitan climate adaptation strategies, with a focus on promoting nature-based solutions to improve thermal comfort and environmental quality in urban environments. The role also includes collaboration with municipalities and local stakeholders to translate climate analysis into concrete actions on the ground.
Candidates with experience in applying nature-based solutions for climate adaptation, urban green infrastructure, or resilience planning are encouraged to apply.
