ReTour launches a call for expression of interest for a Platform Development and Quality Assurance Engineer in Jordan

The Jordan University of Science and Technology is seeking a Platform Development and Quality Assurance Engineer for the ReTour project, which supports small tourism businesses in becoming more resilient, innovative, and sustainable. Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), within the framework of the ReTour Project, is seeking to recruit a motivated Platform Development & Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to support the implementation and follow-up of the ReTour-MED Innovation Hub under Work Package 3 (WP3).

The selected candidate will work closely with the project team and the external IT contractor company responsible for developing the ReTour interactive online platform. The role aims to support the technical implementation process, contribute to platform development activities, participate in quality assurance and testing, and ensure continuity and sustainability of the platform through active technical involvement and knowledge transfer. The selected candidate is expected to become an active contributor throughout the platform development lifecycle and gain deep understanding of the platform architecture, modules, workflows, integrations, and future scalability requirements.

The ReTour project operates under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme. It aims to empower small tourism businesses with innovative strategies and advanced technologies that improve their efficiency, adaptability, and long-term resilience to crises; and to increase digital and entrepreneurial skills among tourism workers and support businesses in adopting sustainable, future-proof practices to stay competitive.
