On 3 February 2026, the MedRESOURCE project participated in the Kick-off Meeting of the ORIENTATE project held in Amman, Jordan. The event brought together project partners, researchers, and stakeholders committed to advancing circular economy solutions in the agricultural sector across the Mediterranean region.
Held on 4 February 2026 and led by the EPLO Institute for Sustainable Development, the second FOODGaP peer-learning webinar explored how effective food policies depend on strong governance systems, vertical coordination across levels, and meaningful participation. Drawing on experiences from international, metropolitan and local contexts, speakers highlighted the importance of clear mandates, structured collaboration and institutional continuity to deliver more coherent, inclusive and sustainable urban food systems.
On 7 March 2026, the DIEM Jordan partner Tarmeem Center for the Training on the Preservation of Cultural and Natural Heritage organised an online workshop bringing together representatives from public authorities, universities and the private sector to discuss the current skills needs in the Cultural Heritage field.
