The second meeting Interreg NEXT MED Monitoring Committee, held on July 17-18, 2024, in Athens, resulted in crucial decisions regarding the second call for proposals dedicated to green transition projects in the Mediterranean.

The agreement, countersigned by the Region of Sardinia in its capacity as Managing Authority, allows public and private organizations from Lebanon to receive EU funds in the framework of Interreg NEXT MED.

The second meeting of the Interreg NEXT MED Monitoring Committee is set to take place on July 17-18, 2024, in Athens. This gathering will focus on the second call for proposals dedicated to projects for the green transition in the Mediterranean.

The Managing Authority informs that the results of the selection of experts in charge of supporting the Interreg NEXT MED Programme in the evaluation of project proposals are now available.

The agreement was signed by Olivér Várhelyi, European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement and Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Egypt’s Minister for International Cooperation during the EU-Egypt Investment Conference on 29 June.

The call is open to any MSME from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Tunisia having participated to ENI CBC MED projects as partner, sub-grantee or final beneficiary. The deadline to submit applications is 31st July 2024.
