ReTour launches a call for expression of interest for an External Financial Auditor in the Jordan University of Science and Technology

The Jordan University of Science and Technology is seeking an External Financial Auditor for the ReTour project, which supports small tourism businesses through innovation, technology, and skills development. The auditor will be responsible for auditing the project’s financial statements and expenditures in accordance with EU regulations, the Interreg NEXT MED Programme financial rules, and applicable national legislation. Applications are due by 26 February 2026.

Lebanese partners of the EUSEEDS project joined the launch of newly approved Interreg NEXT MED projects in Beirut on 10 February 2026. The event highlighted Lebanon’s role in Euro-Mediterranean cooperation. On this occasion, Jean-Noël Baléo, Regional Director of Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie Middle East, presented EUSEEDS, which supports 24 universities in enhancing students’ digital and entrepreneurial skills.

Partners of the EmpowerNEET MED project explored Catalonia on 21–22 January, discovering inspiring Social and Solidarity Economy initiatives that help young people build opportunities and launch their own ideas. From the cooperative hub Bloc4 in Barcelona to the community-focused work of Delta Coop in Gavà, the visits highlighted real paths to youth empowerment. On 29 January, local municipalities joined forces to exchange ideas and prepare upcoming activities that will strengthen youth inclusion through social entrepreneurship.
