On 11 October 2024, Interreg NEXT MED joined the EU Beach Cleanup in Aqaba, Jordan, where over 80 students and community members collected cigarette butts and plastic caps to raise environmental awareness and promote sustainability.

On 9 October 2024, Interreg NEXT MED hosted a workshop at the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels, highlighting innovative solutions to tackle youth unemployment and empower Mediterranean talent.

Joumana Sweiss from Interreg NEXT MED joined the Med Youth Lab on 29 September 2024 in Fes, Morocco, organized by the Union for the Mediterranean. She shared valuable insights on crafting project proposals in green skills, mobility, and dialogue. with over 60 young participants from around 20 Mediterranean countries.
