YIELD transnational partner meeting in Italy marks key progress in deep-tech acceleration

YIELD project partners gathered in Catania, Italy, to review milestones and launch the next phase of deep-tech acceleration. With 50 talented teams officially selected, the consortium is officially steering momentum toward regional business development and the upcoming conference in Jordan.

On 29 June, the YIELD project partners gathered in Catania, Sicily, for the second Transnational Partner Meeting of the project.

It was a full day of productive discussions, dedicated to reviewing the activities already implemented and aligning on the ongoing and upcoming steps of the project.

Partners reviewed key aspects of project management, as well as communication and dissemination activities carried out across partner countries and beyond to promote YIELD both online and on-site.

A major focus of the meeting was the successful completion of the team selection process for the YIELD Entrepreneurship Acceleration Programme. A total of 50 teams of aspiring entrepreneurs aged 18–30 have now entered the intensive acceleration pathway, where they will further mature their deep-tech solutions addressing Blue, Green, Circular Economy and Eco-Innovation challenges.

The consortium also discussed the planning of the next project phases, including business development activities, envoy missions, and the first ideas for the upcoming YIELD Conference in Jordan.

Overall, the meeting confirmed the strong progress of the YIELD project and the active engagement of all partners, working together in a truly collaborative and transnational spirit!
