Antalya Metropolitan Municipality convened a Gov4GreenMed workshop uniting public, academic, and civil society stakeholders to advance the green transition. The recommendations will support upcoming pilot and outreach activities in Finike involving farmers, schools, and cooperatives.

Gov4GreenMed was featured at the RECLAIM Festival 2026 in Florence, Italy through the “No Planet B” panel, emphasizing the links between sustainability, responsible consumption, waste prevention, and citizen participation. The event launched the communication campaign for the project’s pilot action in Scandicci and encouraged dialogue and community involvement—especially among young people—to reduce food waste and adopt sustainable lifestyles. Gov4GreenMed reaffirmed that sustainability is a shared social responsibility requiring collective action and remains committed to turning awareness into concrete change across Mediterranean communities.
