MEDSHIFTGREEN Joins Forces with Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture to Drive Green Skills & Nature Based Solutions
A high-level delegation from the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) met with Minister of Agriculture Dr. Nizar Hani to formalize a strategic cooperation framework under the EU-funded MEDSHIFTGREEN project. The discussions focused on implementing Green Labs, educator training, and policy integration to promote sustainable agriculture and water management across Lebanon. Both parties agreed to establish a joint technical committee to oversee pilot projects, with immediate steps including selecting pilot regions and launching training programs for extension officers.
